Authorization from the MIT (Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport) – Department for Sustainable Mobility – Directorate-General for Supervision of Port System Authorities, Maritime Transport, and Inland Waterways

Altec Services Srl is one of the few Italian training centers authorized to provide the specialized courses required to obtain the professional maritime qualification of "Motorista Abilitato". Participation in the course allows students to be admitted to the examination sessions organized by the Harbour Offices (Capitanerie di Porto) for the acquisition of the professional maritime qualification of "Motorista Abilitato", in accordance with Article 273 of the Regulation of the Navigation Code.

Authorization by the General Headquarters of the Port Authority

Altec Services Srl is a private training center (PNSM - Sheet No. 6, par. 5.3) authorized to conduct training courses for CSO, SSO and PFSO by the Italian Coast Guard Headquarters – Decree n° 1310/2009 on 01/12/2009.

SA 8000 Certification

After the audit conducted on 05/07/2013, our management system has been recognized compliant to the Social Accountability 8000:2008 standard by DNV certification body. For more details see the SA8000 section of our website.

ISO 9001 Certification

The direction of Altec Services Srl is committed to devote its efforts to require the active cooperation of all personnel of the organization to:

• increase the turnover of the company through the consolidation of cooperation with customers and historical constant search for new customers
• maintain the high quality of service and high competence of staff through careful assessment of market needs, offering expert advice and the design of new training courses
• ensure the safety of its staff and collaborators, as well as customer

To achieve the objectives stated above Altec Services has adopted a Quality Management System in reference to the rules UNI EN ISO 9001:2015.
Following the verification process by the Det Norske Veritas Srl Italy, the system of quality management of our company obtained the certification of compliance to the standard UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 (ISO 9001:2015).

Oil Spill Response (OPCR) Training Courses Accreditation

Following the verification process by the "The Nautical Institute" on behalf of the UK Maritime and Coastguard Agency, Altec Services has been accredited for OPRC (Oil Pollution Preparedness, Response and Coordination) training courses. So we are now able to provide a wider range of courses, all of which meet the guidelines of the UK MCA and internationally recognised.
